What I built

Glidepad is mine end to end: the gesture recognizer that reads raw touchpad events, the extension around it for Chrome and Edge, the sixteen interface translations, this site and the mail behind it. Nobody else has commit rights, and there is no company between you and me — when something breaks, you are writing to the person who wrote the line that broke.

What the product actually does is one page away: the gestures and the live check that tells you whether your touchpad sends readable events, and what is free and what Pro adds.

Where it stands today

The extension is finished and being prepared for the Chrome Web Store; Pro is not on sale yet, and no payment has ever been taken. When it opens, the payment itself will run through a third-party merchant of record — an authorised reseller that becomes the seller on your invoice and handles VAT for your country. Everything else — the software, the support, the decisions — stays with me.
